Creative Holidays launches new China program
20 November
Creative Holidays has released its second consolidated China and Hong Kong program, which is available for travel in 2009 and 2010.
The new program has been tailored to provide greater flexibility for agents and their clients, with a range of group tour options and independent itineraries.
The brochure also offers exclusive Mini-Stay package as well as accommodation and sightseeing options for fully independent travellers.
Hong Kong, Macau, Beijing, Chengdu, Dali, Guangzhou, Guilin, Hangzou, Kunming, Lhasa, Lijiang, Nanjing, Shanghai, Suzhou, Xian and the Yangtze River are all included in the program.
Creative Holidays general manager, sales, product and marketing, Andrew Yell, said the consolidated China and Hong Kong program would continue leverage on popular destinations, while opening options to explore emerging regions and experiences.
“Using the new program clients can explore Macau, the Las Vegas of the east; visit Hong Kong Disneyland; see the Great Wall; visit the fascinating Terracotta Warriors; cruise the amazing Yangtze River; view the engineering marvel of the Three Gorges Dam Project; see Giant Pandas; discover the history of Tiananmen Square or explore the holy capital of Lhasa, one of the world’s highest cities and a place of devout pilgrimage.”
New to the 2009-10 program is an extensive selection of accommodation from three to five star, as well as Hong Kong Disneyland escapes and a range of sightseeing in Hong Kong, with full day and extended tours ranging from one to five nights from Hong Kong to China.
“Exclusive to Creative Holidays is Group Touring China and Independent Touring China and these tours have been designed for Creative Holidays.
“We have seen a growth in the family market in Hong Kong and this can be attributed to Hong Kong Disneyland adding a new dimension in recent years.
“The increase in visitors is also due to an increase in flight schedules to Hong Kong, enroute to Europe, with travelers taking advantage of stop-over options,” he added.
Yell said consultants should consider up-selling where possible in Shanghai and Beijing, as five star hotels are great value.
“We also recommend agents be aware of key domestic holiday periods in China, as major tourist areas can become heavily booked and difficult to confirm.
